New Sport Area Tunstall Park

PLANS are set to be unveiled to improve one of Stoke-on-Trent's biggest parks.

Stoke-on-Trent City Council is looking to create a new games area at Tunstall Park.

It would be suitable for cricket, five-a-side football and other sports.

It is planned for land between the bowling greens and tennis courts adjacent to Queens Avenue, and will have netting cover to prevent stray balls.

Residents can have their say on the proposals at a public consultation session at the Floral Hall from 2pm to 6pm on March 18. They can also comment on the scheme by emailing parksandplaygrounds@stoke.gov.uk.
