Tunstall - The Forgotten Town
This is a copy of the letter I sent in to the Sentinel which they published.
Sir, would someone please help me with a problem I have at the moment.
I always believed their were six towns in the make up of Stoke-on-Trent, and any financial aid given to the City would be used to the benifit of all?
It appears however that this statement is wrong.
Joy of Joys
Oh joy of joys a bin lorry braved the artic conditions of three inches melting ice and snow to collect the "Blue bin".
Had anyone with a brain cell opened their eyes they would have spotted full grey bins (that were full up from the last missed colection) everywhere.
Now I realise that emtying the grey bins containing rotting food and stinking to high heaven would put a great master plan out, but surely someone could have used their loaf.
Now when they finally come round to empty the grey bin will they be punishing people that have six weeks worth of rubbish.
Missing Grit & bins
Well life on the Hoskins Estate as been interesting in this spell of "Global Warming" hasn't it.
Earlier on in the year we had grit bins x2 which promptly dissappeared mid summer.
All enquiries to the council were met with promises of this and that, that never mateialised.
The bus that went through the estate was cancelled, leaving pensioners and disabled people stranded, or having to brave some of the slippiest pavements around the estate.
Strange burn marks on childrens hands and arms.
If any parent has noticed strange round burn marks on their children, this is because there is a new type of "punishment" being dished out to children by known local scumbags.
This "punishment" is done by lighting a round type lighter till the metal piece is red hot, then it is put on the skin of the child, causing a burn that stays there for a long time.
This is termed "branding".
Our local police have been informed by the Greenfields R/A and of those responsible.
Crime and how to cut it
CRIME AND HOW TO CUT IT.
A little while ago I was asked how crime could be cut, and this left me in a dilemma, as at the present moment in time it cannot be cut. even though “our” politicians promise they will.
Let me explain.
The main stumbling blocks to cutting crime are.
- the Human Rights Act, better known as the criminal’s charter, and the Lawyers best friend.
- a Government without the will to carry out the policies needed to implement them.
