We have lived in the Burslem area for 76years,
Eddy came from Clewes St Middleport, Edith from Podmore St.
The best thing about Burslem when we were children were- Eddy-seen the 40-60 big horses coming out of the yard at the bakery, at 8am every morning.

Interview 3

I lived in Burslem for the first 29 years of my life, then after getting married lived in Hanley for the next 30years then 5 years ago moved back into his street.
As a child Burslem was a great place to live, I played cricket and football on the fields and around the allotments area, we made our own fun, we had too.

This is from a reminiscence project I did a couple of years ago- interviewing 4 different age groups all live in Burslem

I have lived in this area for 53years; my husband is from this area too.
I lived in Cobridge park, either on the swings or just hanging around with my friends-Cobridge Park is a no go area now.
