Fame at last
At last, some publicity in the sentinel! Apologies for the factual inaccuracies, like the article claiming that CVC has been open since 2001. That should have been that I've been a vet since 2001!
Drew is most disappointed that he has been outted as a 30something, not the 22 that he still thinks he is!
Also, Bella is most disappointed to have been given the Heinz 57 label- thats big sis Millie- Bella is a full pedigree lab!

Only just seen the last post WM- sorry for the delay.
It was part of their 'Pets and their owners feature'. Basically, they were contacting by my PR guy regarding the open day in November. They didnt do anythng for that, but asked if they could 'use' me for other things. Naturally, one is only happy to do such things.
Anyway, they then asked if they could use me as a 'pet owner' for their pets feature, adding the twist that I am also a vet- thought it might make interesting reading for people- the sort's of waifs and strays that us vets take home.
basically, went on about the fact that Millie and Bella are both rescue dogs, that Millie was hit by 2 cars in Bentilee, had a broken back leg, 7 broken ribs etc when I took her on. And Bella is also a resuce dog, due to her slight 'special-ness'.
but they also wanted to know a bit about home life- where I live, who with etc.
It was quite a good piece, apart from the inaccuracies mentioned above, and a great pic of me and the dogs; me trying to entertain them both on the consult room table together- mmmmmm!..?!
