ERUPTION!!!!!!
Well after the volcano erupting and causing so much disruption i was asked to write something on it in my "creative writing" course at Tunstall community college .. so me being a poet decieded to put it in poetry form.. so just thought would like to share with you ....with some of my latest photos of Tunstall town ... please enjoy ...Claire

Just the birds flying in the sky,
So free and yet so high.
Not a jet line to be seen,
That volcano has got awfully mean.
Clouds of grey leaving dust so fine,
Without a warning and without a sign.
Leaving people of the World to wonder whatever next,
For this volcano is oh so vex.
As i look up into the sky so blue,
The clouds so white what shall we do.
Birds do not seem to give a care,
FOR THIS WORLD IS OURS LET US SHARE.

Hullo Claire, do you have any more topical poems, one on the election perhaps, it doesn't have to be political you could poke fun all parties?
For your creative writing course and for here, if you know any, is there any way you could write about local characters, or approach the odd one, for a short tale? I think the people who've lived a place all of their lives have such marvellous tales to tell, that if they aren't told and put down on paper, they'll be lost for ever.
