MP visits our estate
I do not wish to steal web monkeys thunder, but I have come out of retirement to thank our MP, Joan Walley for visiting our estates today, accompanied by Staffordshires new fire chief, Peter dartford, (apologies if I got the name wrong). It was great to see our MP taking an interest on what is going on around our area, and advising how to make this a better place to live. I know that Joan will do her upmost to make this community a nice place to live, but it needs the community to help her, please do not sit on the fence, help in any way you can. Cannot wait for web monkeys pooh incident.
If you want to be part of this community, do not complain, unless you make some difference, (do not leave it to others), they might be as busy as you.

The Pooh incident.
This is one I'll tell to Kierans girlfriends to embarrass when he's older.
Kie's four now, and considers himself to be a big boy, not a little boy, and most certainly not a baby any more.
So now he wipes his own bum, and refuses to ask for any help, which is understandable as he's getting older.
Only on friday, he'd his pooh was a bit sloppy, he slid of the toilet to wipe his bum, leaving a trail as he did so.
He then proceeded to tear off some toilet paper (about half a sheet) and wipe his bum.
Noticing pooh on his hands, he then touches everything he can to get to the tap to wash it off. Such as :-
Unit under the sink, sink, soap, plug, taps, towel.
My wife goes to see if he's okay as theres a bit of muttering going on, and is horrified to see the mess.
The horror gets worse when the door bell goes, she answers in some flustered state, as a women asks if "Mattys" is in , the lady is also accompanied by a man in a uniform.
The lady tells my wife that she's Joan Walley, her local MP.
So thats how I met my local MP for the first time. I can't imagine the impression we made, but it must have been quite frantic.
