The bankeyfields name

It was all my fault we are called bankeyfields, I trawled the web for a unique domain name, that was available, and not too long, and most important cheap, as no one else wanted the name, and we are roughly in bankeyfields, decided to buy it, off now to see if stig.co.uk is available.

Your mission for tonight, if you chose to take it, is to find a mascot for the site, wearing a crash hat,
this message will self destruct in 5 seconds.

Ps if the police use my idea of spike strips on the RMW for motorbikes, problem solved.

Sandyford Villiage

Judging by the sign at the bottom of Reg Mitch way, we are actually in Sandyford Villiage.

Now stop me if I'm wrong, but isn't a village meant to be a nice quaint place, with a loverly local Wink

Hope they took the time to add "Please drive carefully" to the sign, kill two birds with one stone.

nice local pub?? anyone know?

I was wondering with the nice weather we are having at the moment, we must make the best of it so.... a nice gentle stroll, find a lovely clean, tidy friendly beer garden for a cool pint of amber nectar! and of course a fruit based drink for the ladies lol, sorry....
so i thought and thought.... but having not been in the area long and never in summer around here, i was stumped, any ideas, names of drinking holes, we could even have a poll on favourite pub in the local area, family friendly, no trouble or glass everywhere! its gonna be a tough one within walking distance, thanks

Local pub

That is a hens tooth question, the nearest pub with outside seating would be the Cottage, nice beer, if you mention my name to Alan, the landlord, or Danny the landlady, you will be barred, the pub is situated on the corner of Chatterly road and Nash Peake street, so head for the cemetery, and it is opposite, the wheatsheaf in town, by the roundabout, has a singer on tonight, you can sit outside, to be honest, get a taxi to a pub you really like.

The Cushion. Walk along Broadfield Rd that is the road that runs behind BS bikes in Sandyford. Go past the School and the football pitches its on the left. Takes about 15 to 20 mins. Small friendly pub nice beer garden. No idiots or bad language alowed.
