Talk About Local - online community building blocks
I attended a meeting of a new internet group called talk about local. Talk about's aims are to help people who want to start blogging, or campaigning about local issues to find and train people in some of the ways of doing it.
By sharing their knowledge of the internet the team - William, Mike and Clare will be using their experience to help other find their voices on the internet.
So if anyone is intrested in the work they are doing, or wants to know more about building their own blog, head off to the talk about local website
It was also good to meet some of the faces behind the local blogging and news scene. David Elks from the Sentinel, Mike and Tony from Pits N Pots, Mark from the Stoke-on-Trent creative community site blurbonline to name but a few.
