Hanley Museums Spitfire

I took my son to see the spitfire today over at the Hanley Museum.

Looking at the plane as it is now, you can still imagine it's form glory as it's sites in the museums hanger. However you can't help thinking this once graceful plane looks a little sad in it's hanger, never to fly again.

Still looks impressive close up mind you.

If your ever passing, and want to see one of the engineering marvels of the early 20th century, then pop in and see it. Ground floor of the hanley museum. It's free to enter, but they do have a donation box that goes towards the restoration of this plane.
