Date for your diary - Blue House Open Day 2012!
Following the success of our first Open Day last year (over 150 people), we have decided to hold one this year too. This year it will be on Saturday 30th June from 1.30pm-4.30pm.
As well as our practice tours (complete with simulated operation in our main theatre and clinical cases in the hospital wards), competitions and activities, there will be a number of free to attend talks on interesting subjects to be announced - watch this space! The practice nurses will also be on hand to answer any questions you have about your pet.
For children: dressing up as a vet, listening to a real rabbit’s heart beat, trying your hand at bandaging or just learning something you never knew about your favourite pet.
entry and refershments are free and everyone is welcome.

The talk timetable is as follows:
2pm Pet First Aid – would you know what to do?
2.30pm Pet food – fact, fiction and fibs in cat, dog and rabbit food
3pm Slugs and snails and puppy dog tails
3.30pm In sickness and in health – keeping chickens happy!
Whatever the weather, we would love to see as many of you as possible (most things will be inside so don’t worry if it rains).
