You should always use a Registered Digital Installer as stated by the RDI because they will all have:
An NVQ2 in Signal Reception
Passed a Working at Heights course to work saftely on your roof
A CRB check - (The RDI won't accept applicants with criminal convictions)
Minimum £2m public liabilty insurance
ID - (which can be checked with the RDI)
This way you can ensure that the person who is installing your system is qualified, insured and not a criminal.
So when looking for your aerial installer make sure to look for the Digital Tick Logo as only Registered Digital Installers are permitted to use this.
You should always check the Reg No at www.rdi-lb.tv to be sure they are truly registered, if the logo is being displayed with no registration number it is illegal and most probably because they aren't registered.
