En Route…
Rider etiquette and safety – Please observe single file riding, if someone overtakes you drop back. Remember this is NOT A RACE and we are on the public highway. If you see another rider in trouble please stop and help.
Please familiarise yourself with the route – In addition to the map enclosed in this pack there are GPS directions on our website and there will be signage on the course.
Water stations are located on the map.
Back up vehicle – we are again being supported by Wardle Transport who are supplying two back up vehicles that will pick up you and your bike if you get into difficulties.
First Aid – we are supported by St Johns Ambulance on the course.
Back at the Michelin Athletic Club …
Please ensure you return to the Michelin Athletic Club and if you can’t, please let us know by phone, we need to be able to account for all our riders on the day.
Flop down on the grass and we will revive you with sandwiches, tea and cake!
Last year the Bike Ride raised a phenomenal £43,000! – getting yourself sponsored allows us to continue to care! A Big Dougie Mac Thank you!
