I was reading in local rag yesterday that the kids from hollywall school were getting the chance to name the tunstall northern bypass.
I think for the first 5 years of it's life, the road should be simply called the "New Road", until they build a newer one nearer by.
My suggestions are :
The New Road
Bankeyfields Way
Rush Hour Race Track

They'd have to use several road sign posts to fit it on mind you, but they accommodate Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch High Street, over in wales, so why not "At least I don't have to squeeze down Cough Clough Lane Road"
I was going to make it
"At least I don't have to squeeze down Cough Clough Lane and hope not to get stuck behind some pillock lorry driver who trusts his sat-nav more than his own common sense Road"
But I believe some people would have difficulty with the pronunciation.

so many hold your breath moments on there, it is clearly not designed for so much traffic, certainly not ment for lorries....
come on by-pass hurry up.....
I really enjoy the corner
I really enjoy the corner that has a big pot hole which throws you out to the other side of the road, proper pant filler.
