Our Travelling Friends!!
Has anyone noticed the travellers who don,t seem to mind littering to say the least, they keep coming back and setting up camp with their posh caravans and cars opposite the new g-park building..
In recent weeks there were mountains of rubbish, yes heaps of it, well they went or left for cleaner pastures, it got cleaned up by i presume the council with the use of our taxes, then a week later they come back, same ones! then after a week leave again and as i walked the dog earlier today along the public footpath where they were I was horrified at the mess, dirty nappies, food stuff,we had to step around, (please avoid anyone heading that way, cross over)...anyway theres more..!
Just as i was getting over that I turned into Bathpool Park car-park, but the gate was closed, the travellers have taken over it along with their numerous vans and vehicles, well as we had the pushchair we could not go around on the rough grassland so we decided to open and proceed through on the the public pathway!
oh my, there was bbq,s dogs loose, men women kids, felt intimidated to say the least!Felt as if i was trepassing on their patch. Wondered if i was doing the right thing as i feared for my mobile phone, wallet being taken as i approached a group of big men drinking budweizers!
I said hi to them, think they were irish, they said hello back and one then said my you ve got a big one!! Did,ny know wether they were refering to my big dog or something else so sheepishly smiling walked out onto the path, lovely day, hence did,nt go back that way.
Oh well hope that puts a smile on the people that read this article.. It makes you think though who the mugs are with escalating price hikes at moment with everything!!!???
Any views for or against this life, comments welcome.

Let's just hope there
Let's just hope there rubbish piles get to smelly in this hot weather were having and they move on sharpish.
I can see the council dragging their heels about the so called camp outside the entrance to chatterley valley, as you can cross to the other side.
But to block a public path, it 's a good excuse to move them on. They should get that sorted aspa.
Can't blame you for feeling intimidated, we used to take our dog to the kennels at the back of the gypsy camp down peakcocks hay. It was never pleasant going there. But at least they were never drinking.
Anyone being offered their drives tarmacking this week, just inform them theirs a credit crunch and you can't afford anything.
Have noticed them parked
Have noticed them parked aside of the new bypass already
I bet that will become there
I bet that will become there regular place now for stopping over and dumping there rubbish also, as cannot see anything getting built on all that open land fairly soon when the press are saying we are going into a recession.
They have started
They have started constructing earth embankments today to stop access
