Web developers must be rubbing their hands, not only have we got a revamped website, and Staffordshire police launched their new website, but visiting the sentinel site, they too have got a shiny new site, cannot wait for web monkey to cast his eye on the site, and give his opinion.

Like any new site they are
Like any new site they are having a few teething problems, but suprisingly less than most site revamps.
I emailed Sassi (the editor) on Thursday about the RRS feeds not going to the correct story, but are instead being redirected to the homepage of this is... (any one that uses the local news section on the home page of our site might have discovered this already)
They'll be getting this issue fixed shortly, so just bare with them, they are working hard to get it spot on.
Yeah, I like the site, it makes reading the news much much easier, which is exactly what a news site should do.
NEWSFLASH - Before the start of the season, Stoke fans are in for a mega treat. I can't say much more but it involves The Sentinel, Stoke City News and goings on and the web and a lot of white and red.

It's hard to put a price on
It's hard to put a price on it, I'll leave that to my boss.
I did this site off my own back (Inter Advertising host it for free) to give my local community a way of communicating with each other, report a crime, issue, make a friend, share interests.
You see as a new estate, we didn't really know each other, as you would if you've lived some where all of your life.
All right here are some very happy close knit parts of the estate, hyper-hyper local. but on the whole what this site has done with the old forum and especially the new site is bring so many people together, for the first time, and you can see a proper community is growing.
