I wonder if anyone can help, in the past I have set up a wireless network with a G router, and a draft N router, I have since gone back to a fixed usb modem, but the settings are still in place, should i delete these settings, or is there a way just to disable them, as when I boot up it looks for them, think it maybe slowing things down

Thanks for the offer.
Have decided to do a complete format, and start again, used to do one at least every 3 months, maybe I can find that Norton program that windows cannot find this time.

If you reinstall windows

If you reinstall windows every 3 months your going to get mighty pissed with running updates, service packs.

You've lost all of your saved user names and passwords. Outlook accounts (don't have that problem because I swear by google mail), all of your pictures, tunes, bookmarks.

I'd let gordy take one look before you pull the plug, for him it might be a case mouse swipe, click, click, click done.
