when you see the words Beth Johnson you may think of the housing company , but there is a lot more to know about this company.
the Beth Johnson Foundation run the Active in Age training programme this is for groups and individuals, over the age of 50 to promote health improvement initiatives.
Volunteers have been recruited and have been trained to become health mentors, running exercise programmes, reminiscence programmes and fall prevention/awareness work.
All Active in Age training programmes are accredited with the Open Colege Network.with additional ongoing mentor support provided by the Health Improvemnet Project.

the cost of the course is free to volunteers living/working with older people in the stoke-on-trent arae
