I would just like to say a big THANK YOU to all the residents off the estate and neighbouring streets and local councillors who found the time to report the recent spate of fly tipping on Harry Hancock’s to the council. After many weeks of phone calls and complaints the site has now been cleared of all the rubbish by contractors. The site was cleared using a mini digger and the rubbish loaded on to a lorry I spoke to the contractor and joked that he would be back in a couple of months time to repeat the process as long as the fly tippers had got access to the rear of the Hancock’s building, he told me that they were going to install a locking post at the entrance to the site hopefully stopping any vehicles gaining access to the rear.
As Matt has said in earlier posts on this web site if we all joined together and formed a united front and actually showed the council that we do care about the estate things do get done, but unfortunately it has been left to a handful of residents. This is our estate and at the moment it is a pleasant place to live not like some estates you read about within the city so let’s keep it that way, support the Residents Association and get involved.

Hi ya Bryn, nicely spotted, I

Hi ya Bryn, nicely spotted, I was trying to get in touch with Megan last week to let her know how dangerous it was getting up there with some foolish person providing a ladder (A ladder, the last thing the local kids need is a ladder to get onto that dodgy asbestos roof, and fall through it), there is glass every where.

To top it off some one had dumped a lorry tyre, which the kids were using to role down the path way, nearly demolishing the bridge, and could have easily knocked a little 'un out with it.

P.S sorry for pinching your post to drop those other images on, and thanks for the push of the residents Association.
