Barker of Barker's Farm Tunstall
Hi everyone, i'm a Barker in Melbourne Australia and I would love to have anything, infiormation, photos, whatever, on the Barker Farm (?) owned by Hutchinson Barker in the 1800s and his father Joseph (and then Hutchinson's son Hutchinson).
I know it is in or around Tunstall but unfortunately I have no further information. I do believe there may be buried in or near Tunstall, this same Barker clan - so many of you! My mother's name is Doris Simmonds nee Barker, her father was George W Barker whose father was Thomas whose father was Hutchinson Junior (who kicked out sister Mary for conceiving of a child out of wedlock), whose father was Hutchinson Snr whose father was Joseph, and that's as far as I can get back.
I would love any information at all on the whole Barker geneology, pics, anything, and i would happily houseswap or whatever eventually. FYI mum is 83 now and well, though her cousin, Ethel Barker died last year and is sadly missed. Please someone write to me! I look forward to hearing from you all with any pics stories etc.

the tunstall you are asking about is it The Potteries Tunstall or another Tunstall?

this "mytunstall" is the potteries tunstall in staffordshire so you may not get the information you are after from this area.
