Way back in September I took the kids down to the Floral and Garden show, for an afternoon of fun.

Organised by the Residents Associations of the area and Stoke-on-Trent City Council, a wide and varied event was held in the grounds of Tunstall Park.

Residents had gone to a great deal of effort to make cakes, put together bring and buy sales, you name it.

The Sea Cadets, Stoke-on-Trent Museums, City Farm, Bat Society of Staffordshire and of course the Fair provided the days entertainment.

A bit of a racket was coming from the centre of the field, which on closure inspection turned out to be DJ Turbo (aka Tunstall's Greenfields Resident Association, Terry Cope)

The main floral tent had a wealth of flowers, fruit and veg grown by local gardeners, and a fantastic array of potato heads produced by local children.
