Stoke-on-Trent Police 2010 survey results
Staffordshire Police is committed to putting our communities first and the citizen at the heart of everything we do. Our ‘Feeling the Difference’ local public confidence survey is central to this commitment as it gives the public a say in how far we and our partners understand and deal with issues that matter to them.
Results from this survey are broadly representative of opinion in Stoke-on-Trent and will be refreshed and presented on this page every three months.
Survey results to the end of February 2010 show:
45% of people surveyed in Stoke-on-Trent agree that the police and local council are dealing with ASB and crime issues that matter in their area
50% of people surveyed in Stoke-on-Trent agree that we seek their views on the ASB and crime issues that matter in their area
We are also committed to delivering the best possible service. Our latest survey results for victims of anti-social behaviour and crime show that:
84% of victims of anti-social behaviour are satisfied with the overall service we provide (our target is 85%)
88% of victims of crime are satisfied with the overall service we provide (our target is 85%)
Our ‘Feeling the Difference’ survey also gives us some indication of the issues that people see as the biggest problem in Stoke. Where people raised an issue the top three most frequently mentioned were as follows:
Lack of Facilities for Young People
Nuisance and Anti Social Behaviour
Crime
