Bankeyfields Parent Patrol

For anyone reading the Sentinel today, they will have read how Parents on the estate are becomming fed up with the mess, the glass, the trouble, the thefts, basically the abuse of our kids park.

Parent Patrol as I see it, is just parents and residents patrolling the park and reporting back to the police or council. The estates dog walkers have been doing a pretty good job so far and credit has to go out to Bryn Jones and Steve Barrow, who report what they can.

We've not got a date set yet for the next meeting, but it will be on a Monday night in the next few weeks, so ideally if you are reading this and want to find out more, or have something to say, have worries about it then we'd love to hear everyones point of view. In fact please feel free to start the debate here.

Parent Patrol will only work if it's got overwhleming support from the estate, so please help us spread the word.
