Burslem Ideas invite - Let's create a better Burslem, see you there
A meeting of ideas will take place at the Old Post Office, Burslem on the 26th August between 5-7pm.
The aim of the meeting is to build connections and cooperation between people for the benefit of Burslem. You might want to share something you’re already doing, or you might want to find out how much support there is for something new. People will be able to speak for three minutes each and then there will be time for conversations to happen.
If you would like a three minute slot to outline your idea, please leave a comment here or tweet @visitburslem.
All are welcome. Don’t come to bash anyone or weep about the sadness of it all, there aren’t enough hours in the day. If you do want to talk about a campaign idea, you can have a three-minute slot for that as well.
Ideas will be added to the Visit Burslem blog for further development and promotion. If you can't make the meeting, you are still welcome to submit an idea to the blog.
Bring your energy and ideas (plus cake if you want).
Ideas submitted so far:
Farmers Market – could we have one?
Walking Tour – would workplaces be interested in developing one?
The Race Online – how Burslem can benefit

A lot of very interesting points have been made, and Tunstallers could do with looking at . http://visitburslem.wordpress.com/2010/08/27/ideas-flowing-in-the-old-po...
I think some of the thoughts showed here could also be applied to the "5 things to improve Tunstall" post as well.
