Cobbles dug up in play area
A number of cobbles have been dug up in the play area by the swing with a rope basket. This will need to be reported to the council as it is now a health and safety risk, could anyone with children who use the park please phone it in as the more complaints the council receive from concerned parents the quicker they may respond to it.

When the play area was being built the city council were requested by the police to install CCTV to be monitored from the Regent Rd center the council refused on cost grounds. But see link other parks are requsting them.

I did post the problem onto
I did post the problem onto fix my street and got a reply off of the council saying the matter was in hand.
I also emailed PC Talbot one of the names of the lads involved, which was given by his sister.
I'm now having to tell little kids not to mess with the remaining blocks, making it worse.
I just hope no one trips and sues the council (ahem!).
