Construction of a new emergency access junction is due to start on Monday 23rd August 2010 on Reginald Mitchell Way (A527). The work is required to accommodate the new Sandyford Fire Station and will involve alterations to the central reservation, the installation of traffic signals and a box junction. Due to the necessary lane closure, motorists have been advised that some delays may be expected at peak times, although it is hoped that disruption will be kept to a minimum. The works are expected to last 10 weeks.
