Tunstall Police August and July 2010 Newsletters

I've just found on the Staffordshire Police's website the news letters for Tunstall Police buried well away from public view, so I've attached them here for all to see.

Augusts Newsletter covers:

  • The investigation into the death of Mr Israr Ellahi
  • Serious acquisitive crime, which includes burglary, robbery and vehicle crime, fell by 24% across the county, and by 35% in the Tunstall area.
  • Business crime dropped by almost 14% in the county, and by 25% locally during the same period.
  • Figures also show a 7.5% reduction in the number of violence with injury crimes recorded.
  • We have also reduced the number of people killed or seriously injured on our roads by 16%.

Anti-social Behaviour

Anti-social behaviour remains a top priority and Staffordshire Police, together with partners, will continue to tackle the things that matter most to the communities we serve.

Anti-social behaviour-related calls dropped by 28% in the Tunstall area during the last three months, in comparison to the same period last year. We are pleased with this reduction but will continue to tackle anti-social behaviour in your area.

If you are a witness or victim of anti-social behaviour please report it to StaffordshirePolice on: 0300 123 44 55. We would like to thank you for your continued input, comments and help.

Please come along to any of our surgeries detailed below  for advice, to tell us your concerns or just for a friendly chat. You may also see us around the area onfoot or on bicycles, so please feel free to stop us.
