Tunstall's Victoria Park play area and courts plans
During last months Stoke Lions Tunstall Carnival, a display in the Floral Hall showed new plans of what the play area in the park will look like once the £570,000 scheme is completed.
However after todays news that 100's of community playground schemes in England are being axed or scaled back because of government cuts, will funds pledged to the park also be cut?
Only schemes where construction has already started are to be allowed. The government said it had inherited unrealistic spending commitments.
The £235m Playbuilder scheme was started more than two years ago by Labour to develop 3,500 playgrounds designed by and for the communities they were to serve. Each local council was given cash to build 22 play areas of which some have now been built.

UPDATE: Funding for Tunstall Park comes from another source, so won't be effect by this issue.

I was up riding the ramps
I was up riding the ramps last night and some really nice people came up and showed me the plans all looks good but if they are buliding more ramps they need to be partly no slip
i will be back up there and the greenway now as i have just recovered from a fractured sholder and torn tendin

I can't see any laser squirrel's on the plans though to stop the yobs.
