Electric blanket testing at Burslem Fire Station 23rd Sept 2010

Once again this year, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service will be testing electric blankets for safety. Last year over half were found to be unsafe. Unsafe blankets will not be returned. However, anybody over 60 years will be offered a standard single or double under- blanket as a replacement.

There is a testing session next Thursday, 23rd September, between 2pm and 4pm at Burslem Fire Station.
