Estate with far worse Adoption issues than Bankeyfields
Bankeyfields is a great estate. It's a good place to live with very low crime levels. the houses are nice and well kept, people are friendly, we have a great set of people (about 10 of us) on the Residents Association with people always willing to help out, and we are working hard on your behalf. Things could be a heck of a lot worse.....
For instance take a look at this hyperlocal website for a new estate down south in Cambridgeshire. Home Farm Forum was started by residents because they are fed up of the state of their new estate. One of three builders on their estate went bump, so a particular stretch of road wasn't completed. Their are open drains, with foul smelling stenches wafting about. The estate can't be adopted because no one is taking responsibility for it.
On there is some really useful that can be used no matter what part of the country you like, about how to complain to the council.
Steve, the man behind the site has also posted three standard letters on his site, which help residents to complain about the situation.
Now imagine if something were to happen to our drains, or roads. We'd be the ones left in the s*!t as it were.
