Meerkats enclosure at Blackbrook Zoo + Gallery

The star attraction of blackbrook zoo has to be the meerkats. This colony of adorable, and intelligent animals held us captive (that's my three kids - 6,3,1 and my wife and myself) for nearly an hour.

If you ever pay the blackbrook a visit, please check and make note of the feeding times for both the Meerkats and Penguins, especially the Meerkats.

You get to see the babies scamper about on little wooden like legs. The Adults dart about, always vigilant, always interacting with each other.

Play fighting,playing and more.

What a brilliant set of photos, was the rest of the zoo good? They are very loveable characters aren't, I really enjoyed he bbc's documentary about them.
