Race for Infinity - Vote now to tell BT you want the Burslem Exchange upgraded and improved

It's been well documented on this site before that people in this area get really poor broadband speed. Worse still is you pay the same fees for a poxy 1.3mb connection as someone who lives closer to the exchange with their 8mb connection.

Well, things could be set to improve, with BT's new scheme "The Race To Infinity" which gives you a chance to vote to give your area a better broadband service.

So come on Stoke, Tunstall, Burslem, get voting. There are only 14 votes cast so far, and we'll need more than that to get anywhere.

Over the next five years BT is rolling out superfast fibre optic broadband across the UK. If you're not on the announced roll out plan The Race to Infinity gives you the opportunity to fast track your area to get BT Infinity next.

The five areas with the largest percentage of votes by December 31st 2010 will win the chance to bring superfast broadband to their area. BT will also donate £5,000 of computer equipment to a local community project.
