We have an update on the adoption issue
Update on the breakins this week
Hopefully a bit more info on the 106 issue, and a frank discussion about council cuts, and wastage of money over at the civic center.

For anyone whose not aware,
For anyone whose not aware, it's windy out there, in fact it's very windy, I nearly lost a handful of flyers I was posting around the houses tonight.
As I was doing my postie rounds in my big black warm coat, baseball cap, and swag bag full of flyers, I was clocked and then a few minutes later stopped by a police patrol on the estate who was checking on the alley ways of William Coltman and George Eardley Way.
He asked me what I was up to, so never one to miss an opportunity, handed him a flyer which he said he'd post onto the notice board back at Tunstall nick. No need for ID, I think no one else would be sad enough on a night like to night but a community minded person.
It's good to see the patrol in action though, especially when someone looks the part, I'm just hoping he wasn't on the estate because some one saw a shady looking character.

Councillor Introduction At
Councillor Introduction
At the end of last nights meeting we invited councillor Dave Sutton to introduce himself as he wants to stand for office again in the elections next year. He had listened to all our issues during the meeting so I thought he would use these to get our votes. No mention of his support over the issues with adoption of the estate. A brief mention of a name that decided to pool all the 106 monies in the council but no indication that he would try to assist us. Would he mention the speeds on Reginal Mitchell Way err NO. But the reason we should all support Dave is that he calls the Bingo on a Friday night at Goldenhill Community Center.
Sorry Dave you really must try harder. But at least you turned up at our meeting which is more than some local councillors. But we know who they are and we will not be voting for them either.
So local councillors here is the challange come and help us and you could just earn a good number of votes in the New Year.
Hi Steve To be fair I did ask
Hi Steve
To be fair I did ask Dave on Sunday after getting his post through the door if he wanted to see what issues we face, so he didn't have to much time to prepare and did come in blind.
Also one of the biggest issues the 106 you did say that we couldn't really discuss it, and he was about to put his two bobs worth into it when you told him again we couldn't really discuss it.
Some people fact find first rather than promise to much, and judge the situation, time will tell. But when reading your comments he'll get your hint.
I think who ever wins the next election we have to be prepared to work with them no matter who it is, so we need to start off on the right foot.
I would like any councillor
I would like any councillor to make a start never mind get off on the right foot. But I fear the challange is to big for them.
How does the name Councillor
How does the name Councillor Barrow sound?
P.S remember no swearing in your answer back
Not very good actually I
Not very good actually
I would fail miserably as I like to get results . Did you see councillor Brian Ward on the TV tonight BBC Midlands today. He was attempting to defend the accusations that parts of the city look like a war zone , oops Mr Ward go out there and take a look it does actually look like a scene from Full Metal Jacket at the bottom of Hanley.
Not to mention Nile St area of Burslem and also Middleport
