A 30-year-old male was arrested on Friday night attempting to break in to house in the area.
He has since appeared before Magistrates charged with committing 3 Burglaries in our community.
HE HAS NOW BEEN RECALLED TO PRISION

Thanks for the update Stoke Police.

Was the man already on early release from prison when he committed these break ins?
Will he now have to return to serve the remainder of his sentence or has the sentence been extended to meet these crimes, and if so, how long did he get?

Finally, were the items from the recent break-ins recovered?

I only have the very brief details, the man had been recently released from prison hence the licence conditions which allowed his swift return. He has yet to be dealt with for the new offences which will be dealt with in due course. The victims will be contacted individually to update them on the status of the enquiry
