Dog attack on Silverstone Crescent - Can you help find the dogs (3 Dobermans)
Please can anybody help me. I was jogging along the cycle path at the bottom of the Silverstone Crescent estate on Tuesday 4th Jan at about 12:20. A women was walking her 3 dogs and they were off the lead. I think they were 2 dobermans & 1 rotweiller.
When I saw the dogs I stopped running & walked along the path hoping to walk past unnoticed. However the 3 dogs attacked me viciously & the young women had no control over them. I was admitted to hospital & the incident has been reported to the police.
The women was seen by another dog walker heading in the direction of Crowndale/Silverstone.
We have not been able to trace the owner so far but need to do so urgently. These dogs were running free in an area frequented by children & now they have attacked a passerby they are likely to do it again. I fear greatly for what may happen next time.
If anybody knows the wearabouts of these dogs & their owner please can you respond to this message or ring Tunstall police. It may be that the owner was visiting friends/relatives locally. Any information at all might help to prevent this happening again. Please help.

It has been suggested that
It has been suggested that the dogs live on Turnhurst Road. This information has been given to the police but if anybody else can help with any further info, please get in touch.
Cllr Peter Kent Baguley has
Cllr Peter Kent Baguley has passed this information to some of the Packmoor's residents associations, who will hopefully put up notices and report the attack in their meetings.
Regional Neighbourhood Watch
Regional Neighbourhood Watch Manager Steve Morris has also let me know he's alerted all Neighbourhood Watches in that area recently.
Thanks to all of you who are
Thanks to all of you who are continuing to help me with this. Looks like the previous lead was a red herring but we are still hopeful that we will find the dogs.

We are not going to give up until we find them!
Update - I have been given
Update - I have been given some information that 3 dobermans (which was my original description to the police) are regularly 'walked' and let off their lead (!) at Tunstall Park - the owner fits the description too, so it sounds like we may be getting somewhere.
Please keep any further information coming in. It will all hopefully help to prevent this happening again to somebody else. I am still terified by the incident & would not want anybody else to experience the same thing.
Our attention has now been
Our attention has now been directed towards Furlong Road for the location of the dobermans. Thanks to everybody who continues to help us with this.
This is becoming an all too
This is becoming an all too often occurrence now.
On Tuesday night my Uncle and his 2 dogs were attacked (in a countryside area of Macclesfield) by 2 Staffordshire Bull Terriers who were unleashed and came out of the darkness at them. One of my Uncle's dogs died during emergency surgery to save her life, and the other is in intensive care in Runcorn. My uncle will not even discuss the injuries he sustained during the attack.
At present I do not know whether the police have been involved in this matter or whether the SBT's owners were around at the time.
I for one would like to see the return of Dog Licensing.
My advice for anybody walking their dogs at night, try to stick to well-lit paths and routes, keep your dogs on a short lead and carry a small can of deoderant or pepper spray to spray towards unknown dogs that become vicious or start to attack.
Dogs and other animals can be trained to behave however nearly all domestic dogs descend from wild animals and so the instinct to defend and attack will always be there.
Great advice Redgirl sorry to
Great advice Redgirl sorry to hear about this dreadfull attack and that you uncle makes a speedy recovery. I hope that the Police do get involved as these dogs need to be taken from their owner as they are a danger to other dogs and their owners.
I'm really sorry to hear
I'm really sorry to hear about this horrible incident though not surprised - it is becoming more & more common place. I'm still trying to confirm the location of the 3 dobermans that attacked me though we believe the owner lives next to Tunstall Park. When asking local people for information about the attack it is shocking just how many similiar incidents do occur. I wish your uncle a speedy recovery - unfortunately the emotional injury may never leave him, as I am also discovering.
