Just as a warning to anyone that has been ignoring the speed cameras on the A500 the signs have gone overnight so am assuming that the speed cameras are now on, so if any of you have been goving over the 40mph, you now need to do the 40 mph.

The Sentinel today claims
The Sentinel today claims that the speed vans dished out fines amounting to £80,000 in three months Jan-March on the A500 between Talk and Etruria. Nice earner.
And that was before the
And that was before the cameras went live, it will be interesting at the end of the roadworks August time to see how many fines have been issued and what that will be spent on.
Does anyone know if the blue
Does anyone know if the blue cameras on the Eturia bridge also record speed. It's just that as soon as cars exit for Hanley, it's like the start of Whackey races as cars then thunder down towards Stoke.
