I'm not a dog lover by nature but it's some owners that really annoy me. This afternoon at the park, my 2yr old, just outside the gate was harrassed by a bull terrier type of dog, not on a lead and not very obedient.
We intervened and suggested to the owner that it should be on a lead. The response was along the lines of you can't tell me what to do, nobody tells me what to do...
In return for telling them to control their dog they proceeded to take their dogs into the toddler play area, fortunately for us we were leaving to go home anyway.
I couldn't help noticing the open can of carlsberg on the buggy cupholder and wondered if this had something to do with the poor attitude to dog or person control.
Makes me mad.

Dog menace & anti social owners
Why is it in this age, you feel like you can't say anything to anyone, with out them taking it as a challenge.
All you were doing were asking someone to mind their dog, which looks like it would happily savage a child if it was looked at wrong, to keep it under control whilst near other kids (namely your own).
Is it the diet of McDonalds, pumping untold amounts of steroids and unnatural crap has chemically unbalanced people, turning them into uncaring, selfish morons ready to fight or flight at a seconds notice?
Is it that TV or video games have slowly eaten away at thought processes that should govern common decency?
Or are kids just not brought up properly to respect anyone or anything other than themselves.
I don't know the answers, probably a mixture of all three. Anyway if it helps report it to Stoke-on-Trent's anti social helpline 0800 561 5610.
We can help ourselves by building a picture on the council's database of incidents.
"People can call a dedicated number 0800 561 5610 at any time for help, advice and to report anti social behaviour."
