After getting a phone call letting me know that sometime last night someone has taken a large number of poo bags out of the poo bins , and then scattered them around the park.

quite agree,
quite agree, disgusting!
There are some sad people out there!
Our children don't deserve this type of treatment.
Usually i don't like to suggest the council do everything for us but have their rapid response team been called to clean up?
I've emailed enquiries@stoke.gov.uk
Hiya, I've emailed the enquiries@stoke.gov email address, but can as many people as possible phone 234234 or email to let the council know whats happened and if they can send someone out.
Just what makes someone want to do this. There are some very sick individuals who live locally.
Well summed up. Our Children don't deserve this. I hope as many parents and their children can make the Bankeyfields fun day next sunday to show their support of your estate and the police and what they are trying to do for us.

Sir totaly agree with the comments about this dissgusting crime, to be hopes they caught something by doing this.
Will be there next Sunday, look forward to a good day out with the family.
Dog Bags Scattered
Dear all.
I have contacted the council myself just, and asked them to create an incident, and attend and clear up the problem. Obviously being a Sunday on a bank holiday weekend, they couldn't give me a time, but hopefully it will be soon.
I agree that this is not only disgusting, but a health hazard to residents and, if anyone cares, the suspects!
I'm on duty with colleagues tonight, and will make sure I do regular patrols in the area. Any problems, please call me.

Disease
There are some really nasty diseases that can be caught from dog faeces. That is why all responsible dog owners clean up after their dogs. How some one can root around in the poo bins is beyond me and then to throw the poo bags around. It would be such a shame if this degenerate was to catch something very nasty.
Mindless Scumbags
Words fail me, what sort of mindless scumbags could dream of doing such a disgusting act of vandalism. I think it is about time we had regular patrols of the open-space by community bobbies, we have fought long and hard to develop the open-space into a nice area for residents and visitors to the estate to come and enjoy and have a bit of fun with their kids lets not let these mindless morons spoil it for us.

anyone for late nate dog
anyone for late night dog walking club? Or would that be mis-construed as vigilante-ism??
reported it
i have reported it to council x
Did you get a ref number
Thanks for that, they've not replied back to my email yet, but thats because it's a bank holiday, and they've no doubt got a back log of issues.
Did you get a ref number, and could you post it up. It's good if we all have them, if we ever go back to the council.
Thanks again. Dog walkers/people using the park - could you report as and when the poo has gone.
Matt

Smell? Warning notice on the pictures
Has anyone noticed a smell coming from the area?
Will the Rapid Response just remove the bags, or will they disinfect the area I wonder?
I also can't guarantee that there aren't more bags else where so can everyone be on the look out for them, and keep a close eye on yours and others kids if you spot them with them.
Picture Warning
I forgot to post on my first post, don't click the images if your about to or have just eaten, as the zoom on my camera was pretty good, especially on the split bags.
Reason for more adults to be on the park later on.
As the summer months draw nearer and nights are lighter, maybe we adults should take over the park and hold a Neighbourhood Watch meeting (open to all).
As James suggests a dog walking club, where you can a ) natter and b ) walk your mutts in a large group - also peer pressure will force anyone not scooping the poop to do so.
