Some of the other things revealed last night were

* The aeroplanes on Reginald Mitchell Way are to be repainted as they've aged a bit

* Today is the last day for voting for the clean up of golden hill.

* Fishing Pool - Golden Hill Community centre are running fishing courses for children, mostly to keep hem off the streets, which is a smashing idea. I didn't get chance to pick up any information, but you can get more information if your interested from the community centre foyer.

* Enterprise centre, overlooking the Chatterley Road roundabout will be completed and ready for business in July. We've not really heard much about this building so I'll try and find out a bit more.

* Tunstall police now have a Anti-Social patrol car, which is a two man police car, that can be with you in minutes. This car patrols from 1-6 and 6-11 in the evenings.

Don't hesitate to ring, you can even call anonymously.

* Test purchases in Sandyford/goldenhill of off licenses selling to minors have been very positive when trading standards recently sent mystery shoppers around.

* Crime in the Goldenhill/Sandyford area is down.

* Reginald Mitchell Way - 100's of motorists have been caught speeding, and tickets issued. Of those found speeding 60% are locals, who use the road daily. Most felt guilty when told why the police where there in force. The message is getting through.

* Police talked about the "You Say, We Did" attitude, giving bankeyfields residents as an example of this happening.

* 6 motorbikes seized in the past weeks, with more expected when it gets brighter. Police urging people to call. People living along the open space are urged to call when ever they see a motorbike on the openspace as it's illegal.

* Of the polled people in the area, people said their main worry for the police to investigate are Anti Social behaviour, illegal motorbikes on open spaces and illegal parking. NOT Drugs or Burglaries.
