Bankeyfields: Anti-Social Behaviour leaflets
I've just been around the estate dropping some anti-socail behaviour helpline leaflets to certain houses in the area.
For those that didn't get them, don't be offended, they were posted as a way of tackling issues in the park and at certain trouble hot spots on the estate such as the alleyways.
All the Neighbourhood Watch is asking is for a bit of help tackling these problems. If you see late night activity at the park from 9pm onwards, or rowdy behaviour we are asking for you to phone this number.
It's an anonymous call, your not getting anyone arrested, all that will happen is the local Anti-Social police car will come out, the officers will have a quite word, and hopefully move them on home.
Why should you want to this? Well in recent weeks there has been a lot of smashed glass in the park, in both the bigger kids area, and even worse more is to be found in the toddler area.
This glass generally comes after people have seen mobile phone lights, or shouting on the park.
Even if you don't have kids, or walk your dog on the park, I hope you feel you can do your bit stamp out this problem.
The number is 0800 561 5610
It's printed here, on your leaflets and at the top of this website in the header.
Please find the courage to do so
