Bankeyfields, Anti-social measures stepped up by Stoke-on-Trent city council

Moaning gets you no where I was once told. And it's true, it doesn't, but actively working with certain agencies will, which is what a few citizens on the Bankeyfields Estate (Swallows Rise and Heritage Park) have been doing in the past few weeks, including last night.

Since the rise in damage has increased, and become more dangerous we decided to put a stop to it for the safety of all residents, and people who use the open space for the right reasons.

So after a few weeks of letting the police know when the kids drinking is about to boil over, or if we can spot them drinking beforehand, we'll let the police know.

Well this is starting to pay off, as Steve has just had a call from a D. Potts from the council saying that we've been added to the priority list for Anti Social patrols.

So okay, it might not be the best news, especially if your selling your house, BUT, it's good to know we are being taken seriously and there someone on our side who can at least put an end to this nonsense (especially before the summer comes)

Hello I am back, although not

Hello I am back, although not on this site much over the last few weeks I have been active with regards to the issues on the park as per Matts post above. I did my usual late night walk past the park tonight and there were a few yougsters up there but the were just sitting around chatting. Sp please if you see any anti social behavior report it to the council help line all calls are logged and we will get more police patrols to deter the little darlings.

Had to call the anti social

Had to call the anti social behavior line again last night. About 15 youngsters drinking on the park no older than 13. Two of the girls were very drunk. The police who were already on Spitfire Close attended quickly. The youngsters moved off to Summer Bank rd and the police followed.
Any one who walks their dog or who is just concerned please walk by the play area take your mobile and if you see anything call the help line. The kids will soon get the message that they are not welcome.
