Beware a group of about 4 to 6 teenagers are currently going around the estate, when you answer the door the hoods are going over the faces and also a scarf or something so you cannot identify them, and are shouting at you from a distance also, once you say sorry just putting kids to bed etc
Also they do not like to take no for an answer as have had the same ones to the door twice now in the same night.

Do we need to inform the police about this a sthey do have a zero tolerance on teenagers with regard to this sort of thing???

Two came to my door tonight but I just said 'It's not time for Halloween yet' and they disappeared off.
On Halloween night I don't mind for little kids who make an effort and are accompanied but these lads are taking the mick .. they weren't even dressed up, just as mentioned above a scarf covering their head and it is 2 weeks til Halloween... what next Carol singers?!?!?!?!
On a police note we did have a foot patrol round the Swallows Rise estate on Friday eve at about half nine ish so police are out and about on the rise so it might be worth a mention?

My wife opened the door to them and sent them packing, she told them harshly that Halloween wasn't for another 2 weeks, how ever she did come back into the lounge feeling a bit intimidated, by their age, and the way they were dressed.
There might have been no malice, they're just trying it on. Or they're casing each house were the door is opened to them. All you need is a quick glance to see if a car key is within easy reach and a fishing rod and hook later that evening you've lost your car.

It is a good job that this is not America just opened my door to these two idiots, dressed like that I would have reached for my shot gun and blown them away. I told them that they were to old to be trick or treating and thier reply was " we will be in Spain on the 31st and we want some money before we go." I replied " unlucky mate halloween is for little kids to dress up and perhaps get a few sweets for thier efforts". Just made sure the CCTV is switched on and working just incase.

I saw these as I was leaving the estate last night. They were sat on the mini roundabout, dressed all in black, but for white Ipod earphones! Very dangerous sitting there!
