Burglary: Car Keys stolen from house, and car stolen, in Packmoor

Overnight there was a BMW car stolen from a house Moorhen Way, Packmoor. Keys had been left on a table in the hall and were stolen by using an instrument to fish them off the table. As cars have become more secure, it has become more necessary to steal the keys for the purposes of theft. Please remind members to be careful where they leave their keys. Where keys have been stolen using rods, keys have been left on hallside tables (through the letter box) or kitchen work surfaces (through an insecure transom window).
