Buxton Raceway - thrills in the hills
Last year at the recommendation of a friend of ours we all headed off over the moors towards buxton, for an amazing afternoon of hi-octane fun and mayhamfun, watching the stock cars pummeel each other around the race track.
After about 15 odd races, the afternoon was rounded off by a caravan race, where the stock cars tow a caravan, and the one with the most car and van at the end is the winner.
Our kids were 4 and 2 at the time and absolutely loved it. Me and the Mrs loved it.
We haven't been this year, so I thought I'd check on the next few dates, and as I was checking it out the next events, I thought I might as well recommend it. And remember you don't have to be a petrol head to enjoy it, it's just pure fun and entertainment.
