Cold callers asking about tarifs

I have just had a strange looking man call at the door asking to see a gas and eletricity bill so that he can advise me if I am on the best tarif.

I am sure have read about this sort of practice somewhere else on this web-site. Anyway he was extremely pushy and I ended up shutting the door on him to get rid of him.

Broadband

Sounds scammy to me, we had one around about 2ish trying to flog us broadband, asking what we thought of the letter telling us our exchange has been upgraded, and that we can get broadband for free - whats he selling then?

Am I the only one who has not seen this letter regarding the upgrade of the exchange. We also had him call at about 1:30'ish we told him to go away also!!!!

They are full of cr**. They think we were born yesterday.
I've not seen a letter of that nature.
