Hi Matt

Being the "computer genius" that you are, can you just confirm that as long as my virus software and Windows updates are up to date, I should be ok? Hate it when these things happen as I always start to panic as I am NOT a "computer genius"! Do I need to do anything else?

Virus, trojan and firewall

Your allowed to say geek.

You need to make sure your computer is troyan free, virus free and firewalled.

I'm not an expert so, hopefully popeye can give you a bit more info.

Also make sure your users have passwords to.

Thanks for the advice - think I should be ok. Done everything you advised, so fingers crossed! Would be lost to death if anything happened to my computer!

Tera byte external harddrive

If you go on the argos or maplins websites, you'll be buy a external USB harddrive.

For the price I'd get 500mb or 1 tera byte.

You just plug it in and viola, a new hardrive. You can copy your pics documents do a full system back up......
