I was shocked to see how much glass had broken and left underneath the toddlers climbing frame on saturday.
I carefully picked up a handful (20 chunks) of brown glass, which I deposited into one of the surrounding bins. I was annoyed on two counts. The first with the little sods that did it, and secondly with parents who just ignore the glass and let their toddlers carry on playing.
I was even more shocked to see the state of the which was overflowing with broken glass botles.
This park needs to be a no-alcohol zone

Bryn - is there anyway you can post individual dog poo's based on the map (oh the map is dragable) for the council to action.
missing man-hole covers-beware!!
just while we are on the subject of vandalism and kids, beware there are 3 or 4 missing man hole covers in the field opposite our estate, along the public footpath that leads down to the clay pool and the road where harecastle tunnel is, hope you know where hard to explain, would,nt want anyone falling down them as there is long grass surrounding them so a person could fall in if looking about, thanks
Bins not emptied - although reported early last week -more glass
As Bryn has just mentioned on another post the bins were reported full, by himself early this week, and also by myself, as a lot of dangerous looking glass was sticking out of one of the bins surrounding the park.
Anyway, Some of the glass from the bin, has been taken out and a trail from the bin, to the toddlers area has appeared.
Thanks Stoke-on-Trent Council, poor customer service. You'll be down to a 2 rating in no time.
Glass
back from holiday decided to go to the park. Picked up pieces of glass from the play area and put into the bins. Might take a dustpan and brush next time.
