Hiya Rachel If you click on
Hiya Rachel
If you click on http://www.scouts.org.uk it will take you to the website.
Then click on JOIN.
Then choose BEAVERS.
(for some unknown reason it will take you to CUBS but if you scroll up a bit you will see BEAVERS)
Then click on Find contact details of your local Groups
It will take you to a page which you can fill in online and they will then get back to you with your nearest group.
Hope this helps.
If not put a message on the Noticeboard of www.netmums.com/northstaffs I am sure some there will know.
Let us know how you get on.

Goldenhill Beavers
Hi Rach
Was speaking to Jan at school today and she was saying how good the beavers is and it's actually one of the parents of the kids at goldenhill school who runs it.
Also while we were looking at the poster one of the other mums came over and said her son goes and he absolutely loves it and there's quite a few from school that go.
Let me know if you decide to go as we're thinking of sending Kieran too.

Beavers
I asked Jan a couple of weeks ago if she knew anywhere other than Kidsgrove that did Beavers and she mentioned the one across the road from the school as she knew a child whose parent's ran it and would find out the info for me, hence the recruitment poster on the door of the school hall now, will email you shortly. I had completely forgotten about Goldenhilll having a scout hall.
Did Jan go for the footprint painting today in toddlers?
Yes she braved the foot
Yes she braved the foot painting but Liam wouldn't do it! A few of the others had a go though.
Beavers - fantastic
Just to say my son has returned from Goldenhil Beavers tonight and had a wonderul time and is already asking what they are doing next week. They had a good turn out of exisiting beavers and new ones from Goldenhill Primary this week, 3 from year 1 alone.
For anyone that has kids of Beavers / Cubs / Scout age I am sure they would welcome you along
Or if you have girls and think you are being left out, you are not there is also Brownies and Guides - not sure about Rainbows didn't see an advert for them, but can ask next week for you.
If anyone wants any info let me know and I will post it on here.
Beavers - fantastic 2
Hi Rach, thanks for pointing this out on the website.
Our Kieran really enjoyed himself tonight and is eager to be going back. Tonight they've been shooting sticks and a round thing (firing arrows from a bow into the target), painting and team building using a parachute.
I asked him if he wanted to go again, and he replied with a very happy yes, I asked if he wanted a uniform, and he replied with a "yeah, the man said we can get loads of badges" .
Just tried to sign up on the scouts site - "too young"
Hiya Rach, I've just tried to sign up for a user account on the scouts website, and it said that our Kieran was too young. He had to be 5 3/4 to be able to join the beavers.
Other information provided was the following info.
