FUN DAY.
Well what a day that was, the rain stayed away and no serious problems.
Cycle for Stoke realy threw themselves ino it, fixing the childrens bike,s fitting for free lights, and giving out numerous goody bags.
The crimewatch team were on hand to give out information.
We had committee members from The Talisman R/A making, and selling cheese oatcakes, and their ladies working on Pumpkin, apple bobbing, and fancy dress competitions.
There were bumpy parts but the committee members dealt with them quickly and efficiently.
The Haloween ride got off without a hitch, with many requests for a repeat show.
Good stuff
I popped down on Saturday afternoon with the ankle biters. They enjoyed themselves, especially shoving their little hands in the tombola, they thought that was the fun bit.
A great community day for the family, give yourselves a pat on the back.
Are you going to put more of these type of events on?
I'd also like to thank you for pointing out there's a cycle path, I didn't know. Time to get fit me thinks.

Soaps, yes we will be doing further events of this nature.

Also Tunstall park are haveing a few events.
We hope to team up with other local R/As join forces and Ideas to work with the community.
