The little old lady who lives across the road was out on friday trying to shovel away a huge mound of snow off her driveway as it had blocked her path to her door.
Always the good samaritan, I went across to her and told her to bend her kness and don't try to fill her shovel too much.
Roads
As a household that has cleared our road twice this week and assisted people last weekend getting up the road, before the roads were cleared.
Having loooked at the list of votes on this subject, you must obviously have a list of where the registered IP numbers live to be able to say that most of the votes saying let other people clear the roads were amazingly from the residents of John Rhodes Way, I would say is interesting. As I can only see 2 people that say "let someone else do it" and 1 person that says "it's the council's job".
What you don't menion is how many of the other votes are from John Rhodes Way? You only point out the 3 non helpful people and not the helpful people on the John Rhodes Way side of the estate.
IP Address
Hi Rach - You can't tell very much from an IP address about a user.
You could probably work out which isp they use, and which area (although mine say I'm located in north Derbyshire somewhere).
I personally have seen some very communiity spirited individuals from John Rhodes Way who acted quickly on both speed bumps to move the snow as it was settling for the benifit of all of the estate.

Snowing again
It's snowing again, all that hard work "semi" gone to waste, but at least it's not snowing onto slush, so should be driveable on around the bend. Most of it on the bend itself was pure slush this morning, so would have been a nightmare for grip tomorrow.
