ICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCE CREAM ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!

Wow, is it time of year already? Well, this monkey hasn't stepped out of the house since Sunday evening so I don't what the weathers been like, but judging by the ice cream van, that came tanking it up John Rhodes Way, it's warm enough, even if it's just the die hards.

Anyway, some one wanted one, a Police car came charging up after it.

Mums and Dads, get your loose change ready.

On other news, Dave the Window cleaner is putting his prices up by 40p.

Not already!

I know we have had some warm sunny weather for a couple of days, but surely not ice cream vans already! Just hope he thinks more about the time he comes around than he did last year, it always seemed to be at kids bedtime as he drove round.

Luckily can say we didn't hear him or otherwise we would have had "can I have an ice-cream".

You mention get your loose change ready, can you get ice creams for less than a pound these days!

If I ask for a 99, I expect

If I ask for a 99, I expect to pay 99p for it. They might have dropped a bit of the (rythms with bullock) back in the 80's possibly before, but if they want to be charging more for a 99, then they can expect to be taken to trading standards, or a miss-advertising issue. It really is that serious.

The fella down west port lake, still charges about a pound an icecream, which is pretty amazing considering how everything else has sky rocketted. If you take inflation into account a 99 30 years ago should now be worth at least a tenner.

Oil bosses could learn a thing or to from these canny icecream men.
